Broomstick Brownies

4 squares of  unsweetened baking chocolate
3/4 cups of  butter or margarine
2 cups of granulated sugar
4 eggs
1 cup of flour
2 1/2 cups of cold milk
2 packages (4 serving size) vanilla flavor instant pudding
Yellow and red food colorings

Heat oven to 350ºF. Grease bottom and sides of a 13 x 9 inch pan. Microwave chocolate and butter in large microwavable bowl on high for 1 minute, stir and cook 1 more minute. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Stir sugar into chocolate. Mix in eggs. Blend in flour and spread dough in pan. Bake 30 to 35 minutes. Remove from oven. Immediately poke holes through to the bottom of the brownies - 1 inch apart with handle of wooden spoon. Pour cold milk into a large bowl. Add pudding mixes. Beat with whisk for 1 minute. Stir in 2 drops yellow and 4 drops red food coloring, mixing until it becomes orange. Quickly pour 1/2 of mixture into brownie holes. Let the remaining pudding stand to thicken slightly. After it has thickened, swirl over the brownies. Top with whipped topping and/or orange and black sprinkles. Chill for one hour. Makes 24 brownies.
