| Christmas Punch
Julglogg - Sweden
2 cups of aquavit
one 26 ounce bottle of dry red wine
1/2 cup of sugar
1 cinnamon stick
5 cloves
4 cardamom seeds, crushed
1 orange peel spiral
1/2 cup of slivered almonds
1/2 cup of raisins
Combine aquavit, wine, sugar, spiced and prang peel in saucepan. Heat but do not boil. Light with a match and pour burning into glogg glasses or heat proof cups containing a few almonds and raisins. 12 servings
