| Flower Pot Bread
1/2 cup of milk 3 tablespoons of margarine or butter 1 1/2 cups of water 5 1/2 cups of flour 3 tablespoons of sugar 2 teaspoons of salt 1 package of dry yeast
Combine the milk, butter and water, heat until warm. In a large bowl combine 2 cups of flour, sugar, salt and dry yeast, mix well. Gradually add warmed liquid to flour mixture. Beat well. Add 1cip of flour and continue to beat. Add the rest of flour to form a soft dough. If more is needed add an additional 1/2 - 1 cup. Turn out on floured surface, knead until smooth.. Place in greased bowl, cover and let rise until doubles in bulk approximately 1hour. Punch down and turn out on floured surface. Separate into four pieces. Roll out to small rectangles 4 x 6. Fold under and push into greased 3 inch floured pots. Let double in size and bake at 400ºF. for 25 - 30 minutes. Remove from pot to cool, replace into pot for serving. Yield four 3 inch pots of bread
