| White Fruit Cake
1 cup of butter 2 cups of sugar 6 eggs 1/2 cup of bourbon 4 cups of flour, divided 2 teaspoons of baking powder 1 pound of candied cherries 1 pound of candied pineapple 2 cups of chopped nuts
Cream the butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition. Add bourbon. Combine 3 1/2 cups of flour and baking powder, add to mixture. Roll fruit and nuts in remaining 1/2 cup of flour. Add to batter. Bake in a 10 inch tube pan at 275ºF. for 3 - 3 1/2 hours
