| Cranberry Salad 5
1 cup of cranberries, ground 3/4 cup of sugar 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice
Stir together in bowl and let stand for 3 hours.
Meanwhile make: 1 1/2 cup of boiling water Pinch of salt
Let stand in mixing bowl until partly set. Then add cranberries, 1/2 cup celery, cut fine and 1/2 cup nuts, cut fine (pecans are best). Pour into 8" square glass dish and refrigerate until firm. This recipe, doubled, has been used in my family for Thanksgiving dinners since the 1930's.
