| Cranberry Conserve
1 pound of cranberries 1 cup of water 1 orange, ground 2 cups of sugar 1/2 cup of raisins 1/2 cup of chopped nuts |

Cook berries and water until berries pop open. Mash berries, then add ground orange, sugar, and raisins. Cook until thickens (2 drops of syrup run together from side of spoon). Remove from heat and stir in nuts. Pour into sterilized jars immediately and seal.
