Make Your Own Easter Eggs
1 cup of flaked or shredded coconut 2 cups of powdered sugar 2/3 cup of crunchy peanut butter 1/2 cup of finely chopped nuts 1/4 cup of butter or margarine 12 maraschino cherries (optional)
Mix well with hands. Form into egg shapes of desirable size. Chill egg shapes at least 1 hour. |

Melt in top of double boiler: 1 1/2 cup of chocolate chips
ADD: 2 tablespoons of melted paraffin
Dip chilled shapes into chocolate and place on waxed paper to dry.
Use your creative ideas in decorating eggs. Use pastel colored frosting in a pastry tube to write names on eggs or make tiny flowers etc.
