Holiday Granola















Holiday Granola

5 cups of rolled oats
1 cup of sunflower seeds
1/2 cup of sesame seeds
1/2 cup of whet germ
1/2 cup of unprocessed Bran
1/2 - 3/4 cup of vegetable oil
3/4 - 1 cup of honey or cane syrup
one 2 1/2 ounce bag of sliced almonds

Combine all dry ingredients, except almonds, mix.  Pour in oil and syrup and mix well. Spread in a large flat pan and bake at 300ºF. for 50 - 60 minutes. Stir every 15 minutes and add almonds for the last 15 minutes. Cool and store in container with tight fitting lid.
