| Mustard with a Sass
5 tablespoons of dry mustard 1/2 cup of sugar 1 tablespoon of flour a dash of red pepper 2 eggs, beaten 1/2 cup of vinegar 1 tablespoon of butter or margarine
Combine the mustard, sugar, flour and red pepper in top of double broiler. Add beaten eggs and vinegar, blending thoroughly. Place over boiling water; cook, stirring constantly until thickened. Add butter, stir until melted. Cool mixture. Store in covered jar in refrigerator. Yield 1 1/3 cups.
