| Southern Pecan Pie
3 eggs beaten 3/4 cup of sugar 3/4 cup of light corn syrup 1 teaspoon of vanilla 1 cup of chopped pecans 3 tablespoons of butter, melted one 9 inch pie shell
Mix slightly beaten eggs, sugar, syrup and vanilla. Pour into pie shell. Sprinkle nuts on top and pat down. Pour melted butter over nuts. Bake at 325ºF. for 1 hour or until the mixture is set.
