| Strawberry Pie
2 cups of fresh strawberries, sliced 1/2 cup of sugar 2 tablespoons of cornstarch 1 1/2 cups of water 1/2 teaspoon of salt one 3 ounce package of strawberry flavored gelatin 1 baked pie crust Frozen whipped topping mix
Mix the sugar, cornstarch, salt and water in sauce pan. Cook until thickens and clears slightly. Add strawberry gelatin and stir until dissolved. Set aside until thickens slightly. Place layer of gelatin mixture over bottom of pie crust. Place berries on mixture. Pour remaining mixture over, sealing in berries. Refrigerate at least two hours before serving. Put a small amount of frozen topping mix on each slice. Serves 6.
