Apple Crunch Salad













Apple Crunch Salad

one 6 ounce package Jell-O brand strawberry or raspberry flavor gelatin
2 cups of boiling water
1 1/2 cup of cold water or apple juice
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon (optional)
1 cup of diced peeled apple
1/2 cup of celery
1/4 cup of chopped nuts

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add cold water and cinnamon. Chill until thickened. Fold in apple, celery and nuts. Spoon into 6 cup mold or bowl. Chill until firm, about 4 hours. Makes 5 cups or 10 servings. (Great with Thanksgiving dinner.)
