| Holiday Strawberry Salad
2 packages of strawberry gelatin 2 1/2 cups of hot water 1 package of frozen strawberries 1 cup of miniature marshmallows 1/2 cup of chopped nuts 4 slices of canned pineapple (optional)
If salad is not thick enough, make with only 2 cups water. Dissolve gelatin in hot water, add frozen strawberries and store in refrigerator until starting to thicken. Add marshmallows and nuts and chill overnight. Unmold on a plate and garnish with pineapple slices cut in half. This is perfect molded in a 1 1/2 quart mixing bowl as the 8 half slices just fit around the edge. Could use apple slices at Thanksgiving.
