Barbecued Leg of Lamb 2

1 small leg of lamb, boned
1/3 cup of tomato catsup
1/3 cup of prepared mustard
1/3 cup of Worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup of vinegar
juice of 1 lemon
1 stick of butter
1/3 cup of water
1 teaspoon of chili powder
1 small onion, grated
2 garlic cloves, minced

Wipe  the lamb with damp cloth, insert meat thermometer into thickest  part. Place lamb in roasting pan. Combine remaining ingredients, heat to boiling and simmer for 10 minutes. Pour one half of sauce over lamb. Bake  in preheated 325ºF. oven until thermometer reaches 180ºF.,  basting with remaining sauce. Add a small amount of water to drippings, serve as sauce with lamb. Makes 6 servings
