Low Calorie Lasagna


Low Calorie Lasagna

1 cup of chopped onion
5 cloves minced garlic
16 ounces of ground turkey
Salt and pepper to taste

Add to above and simmer for 25 to 30 minutes.

1 can of Italian tomatoes, chopped
2 cans of tomato sauce
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of oregano
1 teaspoon of basil leaves

Cook the noodles and 6 ounces lasagna noodles according to directions.

2 cups of cottage cheese (blended slightly in blender)
3/4 teaspoons of salt
1/4 teaspoon of pepper
1 egg, slightly beaten

Layer noodles, tomato mixture, cottage cheese mixture and 8 ounces Mozzarella cheese, ending with sauce. Bake at 350ºF. for 30 to 40 minutes. 9 servings.
