Christmas Pumpkin Bread

3 cups of sugar
4 eggs
2 cups of pumpkin
1 cup of Crisco oil
2 1/3 cup of flour
2 teaspoons of soda
1 teaspoon of nutmeg
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 1/2 teaspoon of salt
2/3 cup of cold water
1 cup of black walnut meats

Sift flour, soda, salt, and spices; set aside. Mix sugar, eggs, pumpkin, oil, and cold water. Add nuts last. Grease and flour 3 loaf pans, 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2. Bake one hour at 350ºF.
