| | Crunchy Croutons
1 1/2 teaspoons of crushed fresh garlic 3 cups of French bread cubes Olive oil cooking spray 1 tablespoon of grated Parmesan cheese
Rub the inside of a large bowl with the garlic. Place the bread cubes in the bowl, spray lightly with the cooking spray, and sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese. Toss the cubes to coat with the garlic and Parmesan. Coat a large baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Arrange the bread cubes in a single layer on the sheet, and bake at 350F. for about 10 minutes, or until the croutons are lightly browned and crisp. Cool the croutons to room temperature, and tore in an airtight container until ready to use. Yield 2 1/2 cups |
