| Hot Apple Sauce with Rum
2 1/2 cups of apple sauce 10 1/2 ounces of of sliced pineapple 1 tablespoon of cornstarch A dash of cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg 2 tablespoons of rum 1/4 cup of toasted slivered almonds |
| Heat the applesauce and drained pineapple, ( cut into pieces). In a separate pan mix pineapple and lemon juice, add cornstarch and cook until it thickens. Add spices and rum. Just before serving, sprinkle with almonds. Serves 4
