| Broiled Scallops
1 1/2 pounds of scallops 6 tablespoons of butter 1/2 teaspoon of salt 1/8 teaspoon of black pepper 1/8 teaspoon of dry mustard |

Wash and clean the scallops; pick them over for shells; season with a mixture of salt, pepper, and dry mustard. Place in drip-pan tray, with wire grill removed. Dot with butter. Broil at medium heat on 2nd shelf for 5 minutes. Turn the scallops with a broad spatula and broil for 2 to 3 minutes. Melt additional butter to serve with the scallops. Serves 3.
