1 pound of crab meat 2 tablespoons of diced onions cooking oil 2 tablespoons of flour 3/4 cup of milk 1 tablespoon of lemon juice 1 1/2 tablespoon of dry mustard 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce 1/2 teaspoon of salt 3 drops of Tabasco sauce 1 egg, beaten 1 tablespoon of melted butter 1/4 cup of bread crumbs
Pick over crab meat. Cook onions in oil. Blend in flour, gradually add milk and cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Add lemon juice and seasonings, stir in egg. Add crab meat. Place in 6 buttered shells or custard cups , top with mixture of melted butter and crumbs. Bake at 350ºF. until brown. Yield 6 servings
