| Oysters Supreme
1 pint of oysters (unwashed best) 1 stick of butter, melted 1 cup of coarse cracker crumbs 1/2 cup of coarse bread crumbs Celery salt salt and pepper to taste 1 tablespoon of minced onion 1 tablespoon of minced celery, optional |

Check oysters for shells and drain thoroughly. Make own crumbs from crackers and dry white bread. Mix the crumbs in the melted butter until they are completely covered. In a shallow baking dish or pie plate, place a layer of crumbs and then a layer of oysters. Sprinkle minced onion and celery and shake a little celery salt over them. Repeat crumbs and oyster layers, no more than 2 layers. Bake in hot oven until well browned, about 30 minutes. Garnish with parsley. * Oven temp was not listed.
