| Shrimp & Rice Supreme
1 medium onion, thinly sliced 1/3 cup of chopped green pepper 1/2 cup of sliced fresh mushrooms 1/4 cup of butter or margarine 1/4 cup of flour 1/2 teaspoon of salt a dash of ground red pepper 2 cups of milk 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce 2 cups of cooked white rice 1 pound of cooked and cleaned shrimp |

Sauté onion, green pepper, and mushrooms in butter in a skillet. Stir in flour, salt, and red pepper. Gradually add milk, stirring until thickened and smooth. Combine sauce with remaining ingredients. Put into a 2 quart casserole. Bake, covered, at 350ºF. for 30 minutes or until bubbly. 6 servings
