Tidewater Crab Cakes

Tidewater Crab Cakes

1 pound of crab meat
1 teaspoon or more of Old Bay seasoning
3/4 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon of mayonnaise
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon of chopped parsley
1 egg, beaten
2 slices of bread, crusts removed, soaked in water

Mix ingredients and shape into cakes. Place on plate and put in refrigerator for 20 to 30 minutes to set up. Fry quickly in 1/8" of bacon grease or shortening until brown on both sides. Serves 4
